Odd Quest - An Interactive Adventure
http://i.imgur.com/XHbCYE0.png -ODD QUEST- - INTRODUCTION - Hello! And welcome to Odd Quest! This is a bit of a forum experiment on my part as well as an attempt to bring something to Oddworld RPG. This will play out as a collaborative RPG where the actions of the subject in the pictures provided will be decided by suggestions made by yourselves. If you've ever read RubyQuest, DorfQuest, or Homestuck then you'll be familiar with this concept, though for those of you who are new to how this will work I'll try my best to explain. - RULES - - I will post an image and it is up to you to suggest how the story progresses. - If there are multiple suggestions then I will choose the one most likely to progress the story in a constructive way. - In order to progress the story in an easily readable and navigable format each individual "scene" will be in a seperate post. Moving from scene to scene will be explained below - NAVIGATION - - VIEW POST - http://i.imgur.com/idaeXTu.png This icon above is one of the most important if you wish to read the adventure in a concise manner and will appear in the navigation bar of every post that contains a scene. Clicking this icon if you're reading from the regular thread view will send you to the direct link of the post the scene contains. You can try it out now by clicking the icon above. - PREVIOUS POST - http://i.imgur.com/MVkEwJB.png This icon will also appear in the navigation bar, clicking it will send you to the previous scene. - NEXT POST - http://i.imgur.com/3rCblOF.png This icon will also also appear in the navigation bar, clicking it will send you to the next scene. - SUGGESTION - http://i.imgur.com/gybK109.png This icon will appear when a suggestion has been made and will appear alongside the chosen suggestion. Some scenes will progress continuously from a single suggestion, in this case the icon will only appear at the beginning of when the suggestion was made. - CONCLUSION - That pretty much wraps it up for all the boring introduction stuff, the next couple frames will be posted later and I look forwards to seeing your suggestions. |
