Who should be the next Fan Corner moderator? (Poll)
 These are indeed troubled times. We are more divided than ever, and the bloodbath is almost imminent. I want to avoid this massacre, I really do, so, in this very desperate attempt, I propose that you settle this like men: with your words, not your swords! Who would be a better choice? The byrdiest of byrds FennecOnFyre, or the sligiest of sligs Jay, known as "The D"? Both are hardcore art veterans, but one has a vagina and one has a penis! Well, technically, sligs and most bird species don't really have either, but who cares? It's politics! I don't think I mentioned this in the other thread, but I don't really see the point of a new moderator for a section of the forum that barely gets used, let alone abused. I agree we need some more mods to help Xavier and Nate, but they should be forum wide. OWF doesn't have anywhere near the level of activity to warrant moderators for separate sections at this point. In fact, I'd argue we never did in the first place.
But my vote for mod in any capacity would go to Manco and/or Crashpunk if he wants it. |

OWI's FB page shows how many non-OWF oddworld fanarts are out there, if we're going to promote our forums (and we are), those artists will most likely migrate here.

For FC- JayDee
My reasonings are that I know for a fact he's always around and lurking in some shape way or form, and when he's not on the forum he's very easy to contact off the forum for starters. He's been a member of the community for a little over 8 years, so he definitely knows how this place functions and what is and isn't appropriate conduct, especially in the FC where he's been most active. He has a sense of humour but knows when things have gone too far and knows when to step in and put a stop to it. Not to mention, he volunteered and unlike Fennec (ilu rly) is not currently enrolled in school. As for a global moderator, I'd say Manco for the same reasons as JayDee except on a global scale minus the whole school thing because I don't actually know since he's too damn cagey about his existence. Also, I don't recall ever seeing them volunteer, but I doubt they'd be against taking on the role. |
I'd be a moderator for wherever you'd want me as long as it means less multis.

Also that little fiasco got me thinking... There should really be some kind of auto-rejection for certain URLs that block people from finishing their posts, if that's possible. It'd at least make the trolling a little less rampant. Although of course that wouldn't stop them entirely. |
