I've purchased a graphics tablet recently and since then I've been pushing myself to draw something every day and mess around with styles. I'll be posting anything Oddworld related here.

So here's my first doodle, a Slig I did a couple days ago. This was gonna be a concept for an upcoming game but just turned into a generic Slig.

We welcome the new Slig with open arms!

This Slig is shaped like a friend.

A Slig is not a Slig without a Gun. Or without Grenades. Or something that kills something else. Or kills himself.

Give me somethin' bloody !! :3

Oh god, Varrok. You've done it again.

Now I just need to see this Slig in a variety of hilarious formats and I'll have seen everything.

Sidenote: This concept would be a great little animated skit if you could do so? :) I think it would be funny.

I've been thinking about getting into animation after some more practice so uhmm...

I like this slig. You should draw him a slog friend.

Not all Sligs have to like slogs. Draw him a fuzzle!

I'm sure I could give him some kind of pet, but I'm not sure if he'd have a Slog or an overweight attack Fuzzle.

Give him a Sluzzle...

...or a Flog!

Would that be a slog with fur and eyes or an eyeless, furless blob of teeth?

Or you can simply give him a pet rock.

The slig reappears with a rock which seems to bear a crudely painted slig face.

The rock doesn't look too happy about having a sligface :(

Serious question, do sligs have belly buttons?

There are way more civil ways to compliment someone's work. Enjoy the infraction.

It's hard to tell from looking at official art, but I don't think so.

I think a better question is do any oddworld creatures have belly buttons? I swore vykkers and interns did, and I swear all signs pointed to vykkers giving live birth (you're welcome for that visual), but when I went to go check the designs to make sure they seemed to be belly-button-less

They quickly re-edited everything yesterday, after they realised the mistake.

I seem to remember being confused about Abe having a belly button in some pictures, but going back I can't really find any. I don't think Sligs have belly buttons either but his muffin top's still got a cherry on top.
