Hi Folks!

To be real, i never looked up for a Fanbase of 'Oddworld'!
I found this Forum through the ARG of Oddworld Inhabitants, but i'm glad that i did this. I'm a Fan since a Kid & played the "Trilogy" (Munch was my last one). After seeing the Stranger Trailer, i wasn't amused .. i'm not a fan of Ego-Shooters. Since that, i lost my Connection to Oddworld. But i'm back up on the Hype-Train since New N' Tasty ! Even if it was only a Remake, it hit right into the Childhood feels and i needed it. New N' Tasty was even a greater Highlight for me, than it was back then.
Well, enough of Trash talking ..

Living in Austria(Nope, not Australia. We have this things called Mountains. No Kangaroo's here.)
Uhmmmm, i gave up PC Gaming and i'm back at the Consoles since my Xbox 360. Now i got a PS4, cause i don't care about this useless Console Wars. Just takin' what attractives me to play (even if my BF says it's not okay sleeping with a Console in bed. He don't understand the true feelings of a Gamer). Also i'm in for Mangas(well, Animes too, but i prefer the Mangas). I'm a Nurse( insert jokes here), still a Man(!) & up here to meet some new People for awesome Oddworld runs.

PS4 is good. I'm not a huge gamer, but it offers enough variety to be worth the investment. Are console wars even still a thing? I thought everyone matured from that a long time ago.

What manga do you read? Trigun is probably my favourite. Hellsing is also pretty good, and I recently got my hands on Sword Art Online, though I think the novels are better. I've been reading through Dragonball as well after years of only watching the anime.

By the way, Australia has the third longest mountain range in the world. Western Australia might be flat as a pancake, but New South Wales has quite an impressive hump. I do like my pet Kangaroo, though. His name is Junior, and he is a mighty proud Red with a penchant for carrots.

Trigun .. i watched some ep's from the Anime, but lost intereset on it. Need to take a look at the Manga.
SAO is great ! I like the Manga + the Anime. Even if it's nothing new from the Storybackground. The Idea behind the whole Scene makes it great. Dragonball is an all time Favorite!
I'm on the Drsgonball Super Manga, the Anime adaption don't gives me that much.
Right now i'm reading: Tokyo Ghoul(done)/ Tokyo Ghoul: re, Deadman Wonderland(done), Assassisnation Classroom, Fate/stay night zero + Fate/stay night [unlimited blade works] and last but not least One Piece(It's hyped, but the Manga is awesome).
I prefer more darker Stories, with this Anti-Hero concept & many dark sinners & blood. The next Manga i will go one will be Parasyte. Heard so much good of it.
Well, u know. That's for the People who're not into Geographic. Most times i get the call: "Cool! U love with Kangaroos! On an Iland! Awesome!" - and i Facepalm my Face ten times.

Trigun is completely different from the anime after about episode 7 or 8, I'm not sure. It has a very Oddworldian feel to it, though. ;)

I really can't get into Dragonball Super, neither the manga or anime. I'm one of the few who liked GT though, so maybe that has something to do with it, haha.

Sword Art Online has a really great concept. Very horrifying, and it manages to maintain tension without being gratuitous.

If you like darker stories, you can't go wrong with Gantz. While it maintains an entirely outlandish concept, the characters are some of the most grounded out of any manga I've read. It's truly grotesque, with a lot of gore and sex. The first few editions are hard to come by in hardcover, but I'm sure you could procure it by other means. :P

We could have some great discussions about Mangas, although I may let you down. I'm a bit of fan of Shōjo, so it's not really that dark. I enjoy the Dragonball series, Fruits Baskets, Sailor Moon (and V respectively) and Black Bird (which is a bit darker than what I'm used to so you may have heard of it). I'm also about to read Gunslinger Girl, which I heard has a share of darkness. I'm with kjjcarpenter on Animes, I basically watch whatever he watches, but just add Sailor Moon in there. :)

We also have a great, big, untameable lizard called Gimli. He has many very sharp teeth and hard scales. Likes water. Bit of a mummy's boy. You might be able to google him.

Gantz, huh? Was one of my first Mangas. Also there aired a new Anime , but i prefer much more the old Stlye ! Gantz is a Milestone at Gore Mangas. :D
