OWF Rewind 2016  13 Ghosts - The OWF Poster Awards 2016 It's been quite a year for these forums, despite nothing ever happening we've seen a surge of new members (they still count even if they only stuck around for their welcome thread) and blogs about how nothing is happening, we've also seen a shit tonne of members leave and a few oldies return, albeit only for a couple of posts. There's also been quite a bit of drama and some controversial threads, with plenty of dumb opinions among them. For example, the decisive 'Public Transport' thread. And who could forget? 'BUY COUNTERFEIT MONEY(hanspassport@gmail.com)USD,Euro, POUNDS,PASSPORTS,ID,Visa Stamp,' There was Jacob's failed YouTube career, discussions on the sexual attractiveness of Oddworld characters and the rise of the great OWF Discord server. Plenty of broken English as some enemies became friends, bursts of emotion as some friends became enemies, and even streams of tears as Fennec’s heavily planned RPG fell flat on it’s face. Yep, 2016 was quite the year. A lot has happened this year when you think about it, it's not been as dead as everyone seems to go on about. Not anymore than usual, anyway. Now it's time to look back upon this forum year and pick out the shit that stands out the most. Time for the 13th Annual Forum Awards. This year will be something different. None of that copypasting bullshit from previous years, it's time for something new. Some categories have carried over but for the most part, they're new categories designed to inspire more interesting results, just bear in mind the fact that you'll have to think about them a little more, so dig deep into those repressed memories and get ready to pull out some shit. There isn't any rules besides the obvious "don't vote for yourself". Apart from that, you're left to your own devices. Oh, and I know this is the awards for 2016, but I'm going to count everything from the first half of this month, too (so anything before this awards thread). Also note that you don't have to vote in every single category. Descriptions for some categories may be vague, that's probably intentional. It's a real shame. You had a great tongue-in-cheek introduction/banner, but you crossed a line with some of those categories. There's also an acute sense of negativity associated with the categories; it would have been nice to see some more positive or humourous options, instead of just "Greatest Cunt". Too many categories also seem to be aimed at one or two individuals, which makes them moot.
