I am ze great lord Vhazen, and boy do I have a long and creepy history with this place.... Actually, until today I've been a life-long creeper-lurker of this place off and on for no good reason. In fact, it sounds weird, but I've actually been a guest reading this forum every now and then ever since I was like 12 years old, for real... I don't even know how long it's been since I've known about these forums without ever actually joining, but it feels like it may have been like 8 years more or less. I've been an Oddworld fan nearly all my life, as I was actually exposed to Abe's Oddysee on the PC back when I could barely stand up by myself. I've loved the series ever since, and naturally, when I discovered the internet, this place instantly lured me in. But alas, I was a troubled, anti-social weirdo and I still am, so I essentially just lurked in the background, hidden in the forest of threads behind the scenes when I wanted to spy on you guys for a good laugh or learn of new info on the game's universe. In fact, I learned about New'n'Tasty because of one of my visits to these forums, and just yesterday, I learned of their new project Soulstorm here first too... So because of that, I've finally decided to emerge from my cave, and become one with what I have already admired for so long.

For this secrecy, I apologize, but it is who I am, for I am ze lurker. Indeed it was /I/, the master of secrecy, that each and every one of you have heard one those dark nights rummaging through your fridge, dashing to the other side of the trashbins to avoid detection and dodging down under the conveyor belts to find a quiet place to rest until my next meal! Yes it was I, Squeak117, who was the first to chuckle at your amazing artwork from 2014 from the shadows! It was /I/, Splat, who admired your moderation of the RPG section - from which I very much enjoyed reading the old Work At Rupture Farms game, witnessing the rise and mysterious disappearance of characters such as that liberal glukkon dude and the goodguy greg that was a slig named Red Muse! I especially enjoyed that time when there was that weird lore-friendly terrorist attack on that universe by the natives, and I also enjoyed seeing the occasional troll who showed up for a few posts only to be immediately banned for screwing things up. ...it was me, Manco, who was the first to admire your photoshop skills, and it was /I/, Varrok, who knew something about you that enables me to currently be familiar with you but unfortunately I have forgotten...that...thing...ehh..

It was /I/, Xavier, whom you heard every Saturday evening stealing your sunflower seed shells from underneath your desk and it was /I/, Oanst, whom trespassed on the Necrum Burial Grounds every Tuesday at 2 AM! I WAS THERE!!! IT WAS ME ALL ALONG!!! AHAHHAHAHAHA!!!! Euuahh.... >.>

Okay for real I'm a lot more familiar with a lot of you than I should be as a stranger to you guys, and I apologize for how creepy that must seem. Actually, it's been a while for me to be completely honest - the last time I really paid much attention to these forums was probably a couple of years ago before I started college. I don't even know how old I was when I first starting reading these forums, but now I'm 21. So much has changed for me.... I've practically grown up in the forest of threads here, and they have taught me so much. If I am to have any kind of a new year's resolution now, it would be never to lurk again behind something I love. I am here now, in the light, as I have always been in the shadows, and I am here to stay.... Hello, my secret family! Please don't run from me or beat me.
