Merry Yuletide, all.

I had a First Night of Chanukah/Christmas Eve pot luck at my place with friends. Followed by a trip to a bar and a wait outside in the cold for a reasonably long time, in order to drink what's said to be the world's greatest egg nog. I've never had any other egg nog, so I can't really compare.

I was gifted a mini fake Christmas tree because my friend knows how much I always wanted a tree. And also a book: Lost at Sea by Jon Ronson. And I didn't get either of those people gifts, so now I feel super awkward.

Someone remembered us... I am so happy.
