So here we go! We're going to play a short game of: first/last best/worst!

Rules are simple. It's birthday themed so let's get it going off that. Post the earliest gift you got on your birthday that you can remember, and then the latest. Then post the best and the worst you've ever received. Who knows, maybe we can milk a story or two.

First: Thomas the tank engine toy. My 5 year old self had an ungodly obsession to trains and locomotives.

Latest: ROLI 25 keywave seaboard RISE. Cannot wait to try it out and jam the jam of my people.

Best: a lump of gold by my grandmother. (More sentimental this one as it was directly from her.)

Worst: caramelized crickets and deep fried grass hoppers with chili powder that I was forced to eat. It's some Thai food product and it came in a jar that did not look appealing at all :/ my brother got me that one lol.


So yeah that's it. Woo. party games. Now you try! Or not.

first was probably The Lion King on VHS, i really can't remember. the latest would be weed, but that was a one-off and isn't stereotypical of what i'm usually given. the best was a pocketwatch my parents gave me years ago that holds sentimental value. i'm generally grateful for anything i get but one time i recieved a satnav that thought i lived in France and i couldn't fix it. i literally couldn't use it because of that, whenever i tried to pinpoint a destination it would start me off in France and have me crossing the channel and shit to get there.

on the subject of shit that doesn't work and i want rid of, Vlam do you want a satnav? it's perfect if you live in France but NO WHERE ELSE

Latest: Ironically I can't remember this one...I think maybe a GY!BE vinyl but I could be wrong.

Best: Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrm, in terms of what I thought was coolest at the time then my limited edition box copy of New Vegas.

Worst: I don't wanna say I have a worst because I guess people have forked out for every present I've had.
