"Molluck's Mouth Lube"

I don't know what it's for. All I know is its slogan, "Say it, don't spray it," and I regret my misguided decision to search up "mouth lube" on the internet.

Does anyone have any idea what it's for?

To treat cotton mouth from all the brew?

It's probably used for slood withdrawal.

"Slood"?

"Slood"?

Looked it up when he mentioned it. Apparently, it's something in Discsworld ("slightly easier to discover than fire, slightly harder to discover than water").

It's something on many worlds. Just not Earth.

My point being that a product we don't have in our world may be solving a problem that we don't have on our world.

Ah ok, went and looked it up too. That's a funny go to term :). It still makes me think it could be along the lines for chronic mouth dryness, brew induced cotton mouth or even just a sort of lip balm. With them being aliens it's fun to guess
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Do you suppose it's there to aid in consuming food faster and for longer periods of time, making it go down smoother? Something no hyper-consumer would be without?

Given the slogan, maybe glukkons have an accidental tendency to spit when they talk?

I thought that for a while too, but then how can an artificial lubricant prevent a glukkons mouth from being full of spot? aka from spraying it when they say it? Idk :p ?
