Oddworld RPG
 

I think it could be a good idea to make an Oddworld RPG at the end of the quintologie because it may be hard and long to control all five character at the time. By making it an RPG each character could have his place. Doing turn based combat could give each character an equal place.

A RPG could also bring a great storyline and everything.

What's your oppinion. I think it's the best way to play with 5 (or more) characters.

I read somewhere Lorne said we will control the 5 characters together...

And the oddworld RPG is not a new idee

I think it's stupid if all the old heros are going to be in the future games. Why can't they make own games for every one? That's ok that Munch and Abe were together in MO, but if Abe is going to be in all the rest also.. I think that's kinda dumb. I understood the idea of the quintology a little different..

Well how else do we get to see each character's goals achieved? We have to have some, in fact, a lot of contingency between each game, especially the heroes.

The Quintology is all about Abe and his journey to the heart of consumerism. He is the main character, even though in individual games, other characters are top. Each character introduced has issues that can't get solved till the end of the story, and the Quintology is one great story, merely split into five unequal fractions.

The Inhabitants all live on Oddworld together, and cannot do things without one another. Munch is a good example - he can swim pretty well, and knows his wheelchairs, but his main enemy is up in the air. The heroes need each other. That's why they will remain together.

So we will see µAbe rescue his other is a game?

I prefer Abe too. :D And it's cool, yeah. I just understood the idea differently. That they were all going to have their own games and they would show Oddworld from different views and they would all have their own stories that wouldn't be involved with each other. But if it's like you said that'll be cool too. Like the stories twisting together.. And we'll be seing Abe in the future.. :D

yeah, I prefer abe too ^_^...But is he gona cope with all the scars and tattoos? Or do you think that another character will feel the pain?

Well it would be fair. :D Though Munch has already suffered enoygh.. Maybe Abe doesn't need any new special powers if his buddies are going to help him. Otherwise he'll soon look like an old rock star
