I need to know how to post art work in the forums!
 

Well I havent posted any pictures yet so far in this forum And I have been in this forum for a while. I really want show some pictures and art work that I have done. And I can't because I just don't know how to do it. I know I have asked a question about this a while back but I still don't understand how to post pictures. Do you click on image? And how do you get your picture to show up on the screen. I tried to take a photogragh of something. Do you scan it into your Computer? I am just woundering how to get the picture on the screen like art work. Please tell me how and I will try to show you guys some pretty cool stuff. Does your picture have to have a certain web address to it? Someone please explain this to me in simplier terms. I am trying to figure this out and it has been nagging at me for the longest time. Thank you

You first need to upload them to a webspace. You know, like uploading websites.

After that, you need the url of the picture. To get it, right click on the pic, select properties, and have a looke at the info. Somewhere should be: URL : [url="http://[url]"]http://
Copy the url.

Then, go visit the forums and use the Image UBB code to show it. That code is:

(Remove the asterisks = *)

[img*]URL[/i*mg]

At the place of URL, you copy the picture URL. NOTE: The http:// part is REQUIRED!

For example, here you see the URL of a pic of a Rayman fansite: http://www.rayman.xnapster.com/magician2.gif

And now, I'm going use the code:

http://www.rayman.xnapster.com/magician2.gif

Thanks Cool Paramite I aprecieate it. But I think I am going to eather create my own website or an e-mail address where I can have those pictures and others will be welcome to post pictures of their own and we could talk about them. But I don't quite know what I am going to do yet but I will soon.
