Computer problems with the forums.

Okay, let me paint you all a little picture. My computer, most of the time, wants me to "download" the forums. Now we all know this isn't possible. This is one of the rare instances of when I can ever get on the forums anymore. So, you will definately be seeing less of me. As for all you Hans and Sven fans, don't worry. I'll send the chapters through MSN so Sal can post 'em here. So, happy trails! :)

Hmmm... I remember one Final Fantasy site that I used to go to done that on my home computer but not at work. But I've never heard of it occurring on our forums.

May I ask what address you are using to access the forums?

The direct address - http://www.oddworldian.net/oddworldf...ultimatebb.cgi
The main forum redirect - http://www.oddworldian.net
Oddworld-Web's Redirect - http://forums.oddworld.au.com

Also what operating system do you have and what browser?

Â*Â*Â*Â*Â*I've had that happen before. It happened when I changed my forums password on another computer than the one I normally use, and when I visited on my regular machine, it would ask to download the forums! To fix this, I went into the c:\windows\cookies directory and deleted all of the cookie files existing in there. You should then be able to log back into the forums with your new password. Of course, this is assuming that you did change your password.

If I remember rightly...he was complaining about how the forums weren't accepting his new password and such awhile back...so that may very well be what the problem is Pilot.
