in the past week two people have left (or have tried to leave) your giving the new people to the forums bad impressions of the forums and they probably won't stay very long. you should all just talk to the people who are being rude to you and seatle it untill then i'm out of here for the week. i have a big karate thing goin on so till then bye. :D

I totally agree with everything you're saying. Take the recent barrage of insults going on between me and Mudoken 101. That arose from a simple misunderstanding made by Modoken 101 and neither of us took the time to sort the problem out and/or apologise. So, sorry Mudoken 101 for causing you grief. :(

I agree...and I'll add one bit of advice. If you have issues with a certain individual, please please take it to email! If don't want to use email...then use Oddchatt or some other IM service. This is NOT a place to rant, rave, and insult people!

heh, Sorry but I am just a mod. New forum making, if any, go to Abe Babe and Sydney. Besides the reason I said to take it to email is to keep those 'rants and ravings' off the forums, where they don't belong in my opinion.

That has started to become one of my major concerns lately, the amount of "personal" topics we are getting on here lately is going a bit over the top.

By a "personal" topic, I mean a topic that is directed towards one or two induviduals only and is best dealt with through email or as Dragadon already mentioned OddChat, etc.

This is a message forum for "discussion", and posting topics that are relating to only a couple of people is unfair on other members and also gives a bad impression on new members.

That combined with these negative leaving posts is a shame. You are right Oddworld Master. We don't need that. If someone has a problem with a person, deal with it on email or ignore them. You are always going to get personality conflicts anywhere, it happens in real life, and it happens online.

I have an idea on how to eliminate some of this, but I haven't been able to catch Sydney online for a while, so when I see him next I will speak to him about it.
