Coursework Tips
i was just wondering if anyone had done any coursework on probablility...
"Find out if the probablility of shaking a '6' on a fair dice withing 5 goes" if anyone can post any tips on this, or on general maths coursework...i'll get a high grade on this piece of coursework...errrrr, i mean: i'll find this very interesting and not cheat... |
I'm not exactly sure what you meant, but if you were asking what the probability of rolling a dice five times and getting at least one six is, the answer is 1/6.
That's 1/6 + 1/6 + 1/6 + 1/6 + 1/6 = 5/30 5/30 can be expressed as 1/6 Answer given! (More logically, the answer's obviously 1/6 because each new roll of a fair dice has no connection to the previous roll. There are 6 sides on a dice, and the number 6 is one of them. Therefore, 1/6) ***Don't take my word on this. Ever since I finished school I've tried to ignore logic of any kind.*** [ August 19, 2001: Message edited by: LuxoJr ] |

Just cheat. It's faster and more efficient since knowledge never really seems to influence whether or not you get a job (sorry - jaded because I work with assholes).

i will cheat if anyone'll post something i can use...
