Kevin Smith movies (Clerks, Mallrats, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob...)

Who is a fan of Kevin Smith movies? I am! I've seen every one excapt for Chasing Amy (which I hear is pretty bad).

Jay and Silent Bob crack me up.

Yeah, I've just seen Dogma and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. They were both equally funny .

I haven't seen any of them, but a couple of my friends have, and say they are very good. I'll have to borrow the videos sometime...

Clerks:the animated series is the funniest thing I've ever seen in my 15 years of existance! Especially the anime spoof, "Who is driving Oh my god bear is driving how can that be?!?"

The above mentioned bear driving sequence.

"Car full of midgets?!"

I would like to argue that I am the biggest Kevin Smith fan on this board...

I Love'em All!
Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back
Dogma
Mallrats
Clerks Animated
(all six episodes on DVD)
Clerks
and yes I am a fan of Chasing Amy

most of my friends are big fans as well and a couple of us go all out and buy T-shirts, comic books, and other Smith "paraphernalia"

Snootch to the Motherfsckin Nootch!

The first Kevin Smith movie I saw was Chasing Amy, which was when I had never heard of Kevin Smith. I liked that movie a lot. I was going to suggest that it might be more appealing to an older crowd than is typical of the forums (it's romantic), but I notice that Eibu liked it and I know that he is only 18 or thereabouts.

The only other KS movie I've seen is Dogma, which I also liked. I've been curious about Clerks; I definitely will rent that some time.

Dogma is the coolest and funniest movie ever!!  :D I like the part where Chris Rock says, "It's a shit demon!!"

The general consensus among my group is that Mallrats is the funniest of the series. But now that J&SSB came out there might be a change though Mallrats is classic.

Among my group I'm sort of the Oddball in that I really like Clerks (it places above Chasing Amy on my list) but my friends generally aren't as fond of it as I am. They like to piss me off. The only reason they usually give is that it wasn't as good because it was in black & white.

I also love Chasing Amy too! It has a ton of funny parts and lines that often get overshadowed by the more dramatic overtone of the movie. "BLACK RAGE! BLACK RAGE!"

Here's some fairly easy trivia:
What recent horror movie did the characters Jay & Silent Bob recently make a cameo in?

Although I haven't seen this movie either, I thought I'd answer before anyone else could... :D

It's Scream 3.

Hmm... I'll rent Chasing Amy this weekend.

Not only was Clerks hilarious, but it was also intelligent and thought-provoking (believe it or not)

On my list, the best KS movies are:

J&SB
Clerks (at first, I was sad because it was in black and white, but then I realized that I didn't care because the movie was just so damn good)
Mallrats (That buttcrack thing was HILARIOUS!!)
Dogma
