Mudokon Voices
 

Why do most mudokons speak in a muffled voice? I want to know why. Their voices sound like they stuff food into their mouth, have a disability or after they go to a dentist and their faces are numb. I speak in a muffled voice when my face is numb. But why do the mudokons talk in a muffled voice?

If by muffled you mean quiet, then i'd assume it's because they've been trying to avoid beatings their entire life, and you don't want to be caught chatting with others when you're a slave.

If you mean they just sound weird... uhhh... mouth shape/structure?

Could be the stitches in their mouths...

Maybe drinking so much Soulstorm Brew gives them muffled voices, like a drunkard slurring his speech, as they do get addicted to the stuff.

There is no Soulstorm Brew in Abe's Oddysee.

There was Soulstorm Brew in New N' Tasty get with the new canon, Nep.

I don't count NnT as canon.

No. By muffled, I mean the depth of their voices. It sounds so soft and liquidy that you can't hear it increased. Only Abe has a half muffled voice.

There is no lore perspective, there is only the Lorne perspective.

I just realised! That muffled voice they have...

IT IS A LATERAL LISP THE MUDOKONS HAVE WHICH CAUSES THEM TO TALK IN MUFFLED VOICES!!!!!

Maybe it was just low sample rate in psx sounds
