I've played Oddworld my whole life (still need to get all the SAM and KAM endings though lol) and I've seen this board a million times as a kid. I never thought about creating an account but now that the community is slowly picking back up I thought this would be the best time. I hope to contribute to the forums the best I can. i think the majority of us are taking that approach, which is good, but some other members still feel the need to be dickish to new members either out of choice or just force of habit. i get tired of seeing it.

but i'll say one thing: if we start going backwards again and scare off new members by being unreasonable cunts then i will fucking leave this dump permanently, it's easier than trying to respond to every post that rubs me the wrong way. too many people i care about have already quit posting here due to boredom and/or because they're fed up with our abrasive behaviour so needless faggotry towards newbies is not welcome. let's all just grow up and save our venom for when it's warranted.
