I hate even responding to this thread, because he was obviously looking to get people butthurt, but this is really getting old.

i was 'really upset' because he made references to really serious parts of STM's blog. that has no place in a stupid fucking story other than to laugh at the person they're from. that isn't funny, but hey, if you find that funny, carry on praising him.

it's like if i blogged about a real suicide attempt and then he added it to his story, would you find that funny too? wake up. the guy is a fucking cunt. and stop defending him.

actually it kinda was. all those little excerpts from our posts he added to his story is his way of laughing at us and our opinions, and at first we all just laughed along with him. now i realize what the little shit is doing, i no longer find it funny. to be fair, if he doesn't grow the fuck up, i want him off this forum.

I think we have all had shit go on and it gets us down, it's healthy to poke fun at it once in a while. I wouldn't mind people making a joke out of my suicide attempts because it's a joke.

You do have some good potential Vlam, have you considered digital art? Here's an example of the piece you did but using a program I downloaded called MSPaint. I used mostly oval shapes as you can see because that way it's all circles. And also I removed some, you can't do that in real life so this is much better if you make mistakes.

yeah well, that's your opinion. just because you don't give a shit doesn't mean everyone else holds the same values as you. if that were the case no one would ever be offended by a joke because "it's a joke". even if the person it's at the expense of doesn't mind, that doesn't necessarily make it ok. it's distasteful. if someone were to joke about my granny dying or something i would troll the shit out of them in response.

in my defence my whole point originally in this thread wasn't about offensive jokes and dying grannies and shit, it was about Vlam being in the wrong for taking the piss out of another members artwork by parodying it poorly. what's so funny about saying (in a sneaky, round-about way) "your artwork sux"? that was my original point. that's it. so if you feel the need to respond, respond to that. or respond to Vlam's amazing masterpiece that he so obviously put his heart and soul into. jesus fucking christ.

I don't think the original artwork was good, but I don't think Vlam's joke was very funny either, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have a right to make it. Here's the thing: there is no "should and shouldn't" when it comes to making jokes, either everything's okay to joke about, or nothing is.

If I make a joke at a members expense, I don't want them to be offended, I want them to have a pop back at me, then it's a success. If they are offended though, it's not much of a loss.
