Nintendo Life's Alex Interviews Lorne Lanning
Another great interview with Lorne
Is there something new to learn?
They're launching into the production of TzF, which is nice but expected, and he said he'd like to make an Abe Amiibo, but he's not confirming that officially because he doesn't want to make fans a promise he can't keep and get crucified for it. I'm totally buying the Abe Amiibo if it comes out though.
The entire interview is super interesting but not incredibly exciting or relevant. |
I only posted it because.
1. It's a new Lorne interview. and 2. It was by Nintendo life. Which I never thought I'd see. Still quite strange having Oddworld on a Nintendo console for the first time. it's pretty fricking cool. :) |

Well, it's still be the first time an Oddworld game is still a non-handheld Nintendo console.
I meant a Nintendo Home Console, Not handheld. Should of been more specific. :)
Well, what about the super game boy and the game boy player?
Vlam I swear to god.
There were no Oddworld games designed specifically for Super Game Boy or Game Boy Player
I was talking to Alf Shall Rise. You can play these games on non-handled Nintendo console: Super Nintendo and Gamecube.
That technically doesn't make it a console game. It's not a port, it's not a re-release. It's just playing a handheld game on the big screen.
That's like playing a PS1 game on an emulator and calling it a PC game. |
Yes, I agree, but technically, you can play it on your home console.
:
That wasn't his point obviously. |
Lorne said 'Yeah we won't talk about those..' It was just licensing. he never took part in the production of the GBA games i think.

By the way, is Alf's escape available on PS3?
No. It's only on PS4, Xbone and Steam at the minute.
