After a one-year break it’s time for the 12th Annual Oddworld Forums Poster Awards!
(Comrade Scrabtrapmanovich's appearance in the rostrum was greeted by the voters with loud cheers lasting several minutes. The entire audience in the Zulag Two Theatre rose to its feet to greet Comrade Scrabtrapmanovich. There were continuous cries of "Cheers for great Scrabtrap!" "Long live great Scrabtrap, Hurrah!" "Cheers for our beloved Scrabtrap!") Brothers, Sisters, Comrades, lend me your ears! Tonight I stand before you, fists clenched, brow furrowed. I look out at vacant seats, of spaces unfilled and I say, "what travesty has befallen us?" We, the children of the revolution, are all that remains of this once vibrant forum. The Alcarists, once themselves a bastion against secessionist Asylumist scum have fled into the night and left us bereft of our hearty member base. Why, what a shambolic mess this party has become. Old memes, long dead now remerge in lieu of fresh, witty, forced bandwagons. Comrade Max is still nowhere to be found and Comrade Oddjobabe's catheter won't stop leaking. This is why I could not stand by in all good heart and allow things to continue in this way. It has befallen I, the General Secretary of the Union of Zulags, to orchestrate change in the form of a new, improved Award Ceremony. This, the auspicious twelfth Congress of Forumers, will be the point at which future generations look back to as the rekindling of these great Oddworld Forums. Tonight, on this hallowed podium that once hosted Comrade Wired before he was mysteriously killed in a freak ice-axe incident, I bring to you the categories that I expect you all to vote on. Remember, this is a democratic forum and it is perfectly acceptable for you to endorse other candidates that aren't Chairman Nate. We wholeheartedly implore you to offer your support to such well rounded candidates as the factionist pig-dog Xavier or the overweight, bourgeoisie OANST. Procedure and Rules Procedure is the same as it always has been. No nominations and no applications, just vote for which members you think are most deserving of each award by posting them here. For your vote to be counted, you must post in this thread and this thread alone! You don't have to vote on every single category, and you can submit more than one member per category if you really, really cannot decide between two or three members. There is to be:
