I was never a huge Bowie fan myself but I think he’s made an appearance in nearly everyone’s lives and had a major impact on pop culture. Life on Mars? and Space Oddity are two of my personal favorites of his songs.

Poor old David :( the world lost a great artist today.

RIP David Bowie. He accomplished a lot in his life and his career as an artist, and was an inspiration to hundreds of thousands. He was something else.

I have friends who never even heard of David Bowie. Also I think I read somewhere that he was a white supremacist or something but I'm not sure where and I don't think it's true.

Also the music video to Lazarus gave me frigging chills. The guy clearly knew he was dying and this was his way to say goodbye. :(

I liked the art direction in the video. The song was okay too.

There are theories that his final album is about his own death. Apparently it’s a very dark album in general.

It's quite obvious it is... a single listen to it will confirm it, that's not what I would call a "theory".
