Hey look what I purchased
Tell me about or something stupid like that. Is it bad. Is it good. Is it like the pc/ps1 games?

How can I tell you you? You can clearly see it's still in my hand.

That's feeding directly from Twitch.tv Nate.
|
just watched a clip of it on youtube.. it looks and sounds terrible.
|
It's... not good... sorry :p
|
You've paid nine dollars for this ?
You won't have time to get bored : the game is very quick to beat. |
Vlam pls, the sass is too high.
I played a few stages, it's actually really good. The music and sound effects aren't all that great but come the fuck on this is a game boy color. It looks actually really nice, the sprites are not at all difficult to say "this is this" and the coloring seems to be just great on everything. And while the music and sound effects are sub par, it's amazing hearing a GBC game being able to produce intelligable voices. There's a lot of the gamespeak still in the game, and it's totally recognizeable and actually really impressive. As for the gameplay it's a little trimmed down version of oddworld AE, the end. |
It looks really, really awful.
|
How can you say that this game looks pretty damn good for a 160x144 screen.

I actually like this game. It's the best Game Boy Oddworld game by far, and I think it does a decent job recreating the Abe games with very limited hardware.
It's not great sure, nor is it a good looker compared to most GBC games. but it's not complete trash. Plus the 8-bit Exoddus scenes look awesome. EDIT: Case and point Varrok. |
Really strange, unfitting color patterns and weak animations are the main reason I consider Oddworld Adventures ugly. I'm really picky when it comes to colors and animations. That's why this is beautiful
|
I think the first one is terrible, bur the second one is a guilty pleasure.
|
Oddworld Adventures 2 was ugly as hell but I liked it for what it was at least. Weren't Scrabs shorter than Abe? That always bugged me for some reason.
It was cool though. I thought it was pretty neat seeing Exoddus in 8-bit form, even if it wasn't great. |
