After much delay, my "launch project" is now online (OK, so it's an after launch project now).
You can now download a customized Interent Explorer with an Oddworld theme. If you are an Oddworld fan this is for you! One of the main advantages to this over the Hotbar's that I have is that you don't have to have the advertising bar. Secondly the background image is non-obtrusive which is good if you have to share your brower with others who may not be fans of Oddworld. - Info Page - Download Page (includes instructions) - Frequently Asked Questions I have also included in the browser links to many Oddworld fansites, Xbox sites and Gaming sites, so people can easily access the information they need. http://www.oddworld.au.com/paramonia/images/ie01-sm.jpg I put a lot of work into this one and obtained the correct permissions allowing me to do so. Well i've downloaded all 11Mb onto my computer, finally after 1 hour it has been downloaded.
But i spent the hour playing AE so it was okay, now its just installing it onto my computer so i will probably have to restart. By the way Abe Babe i never imagined it would be this that was the launch project, great job! |

I can happily say that i was the first one to download it!
*trys not to brag too much* Again Abe Babe in an instant OWI posted news about it. It is really great, by the way when i place my mouse over the link to my site, it says: Oddworld Universe wishes you a merry christmas, was that you. Cause if it was then people actually go to my site! oh my god, proof at last!!!!!! *can't be bothered to try not to brag too much* Now i have to wait until my family finds out i downloaded 11Mb, hope they don't flame me for it |

Xavier... sorry Internet Explorer 6 won't run on Windows 95. I have added a System Requirements to the info and download pages so that people will know about this. I tried to put all the good fan sites in (there are a couple of non-English sites in there too, including Oddworld News), I have probably missed some, so if so, people can email me for inclusion in a later release. The downloading time can be a while if you are on dial up or if you don't have that version of IE previously installed. If you are on cable/DSL it flies through though. That's why I set the minimum as the standard download, so you don't have to download lots of other stuff if you don't want to. Abe Babe... |
Yeah it took over an hour for me to download it, lucky everyone at my house was asleep.
But i loaded up an unfinished save file and finished AE again in that time. Damn...Modem........Lucky...Cable Oops got to stop thinking to myself again |

To move the toolbars around you need to right-click any where on the top part where the nice picture of an oddworld scene is.
Then click on the thing that says: Lock Toolbars, now you have the freedom to move toolbars around. Do any of you got Oddchat, MSN, ICQ, AIM |

Ok worked it out,
1-enable urself to move the toolbars 2-Drag every toolbar up into the very top toolbar 3-now when you load a page there is munch But i prefer the abe, its better set out, hope this helps |
thank you it is very good and actually got my msn working! before it kept on saying it could not find default browser now I just set this to default browser and it works well and now all I have to deal with is junk mail.
