CERN researchers confirm existence of the Force

Researchers at the Large Hadron Collider just recently started testing the accelerator for running at the higher energy of 13 TeV, and already they have found new insights into the fundamental structure of the universe. Though four fundamental forces – the strong force, the weak force, the electromagnetic force and gravity – have been well documented and confirmed in experiments over the years, CERN announced today the first unequivocal evidence for the Force. “Very impressive, this result is,” said a diminutive green spokesperson for the laboratory.

I actually found this today at college, and had no idea why the fuck it did it. Freaked me out, it did.

I usually look forward to ThinkGeek's gags. This year they were really kinda lame.

For the record, this is not an April Fools gag. It prompted much discussion in the office and I was the strongest arguer that it had to be a joke because who on earth would decide that it was a good idea?

Then I remembered the Fire Phone. And after that I remembered the value of my stock. Then I got sad.

Honestly that dash button is a pretty interesting concept once you get past the 'WTF' reaction. Also clever marketing because if there's one thing that makes money it's people being lazy. Give them a button to buy something without seeing what it costs, overprice it, massive profit.

Best April Fools joke I experienced this year was definitely the newest Steven Universe episode. Had no idea going into it that it would be what it was, and holy christ did it fool me at least three times. I won't go too into it as to avoid spoilers, but man did it crack me up.

That episode was the only April Fools joke I experienced this year and I'm 500% okay with that.

Yeah, I totally thought it was gonna be a huge, intense story episode with grave ramifications as soon as I saw stuff coming out of the ocean but, nope. Uncle Granpa. Well played, Sugar.

i got the keys to my new flat on April 1st. i was half expecting them to say APRIL FOOLS and snatch them back. then i would have had to set the lettings agent office on fire.
