So yeah now that that's out of the way, who's going to the wedding?? I know I (sincerely hope that I) am (able to make it in light of financial and geographical hurdles)! Let's make this a fantastic -no- the greatest Oddtour of all time.

Wow! Well, thanks! Things are finally starting to come together on the wedding front, too. Last week we bought the wedding dress, both flower girl dresses, and my tux! I should be ordering all the tables, and chairs within the next week. From there it's just invitations, kegs, and paying off the dj, and stuff like that. Oh, wait. We still need to get the wedding bands. Well, we're getting close! still a lot to do but over half way done, I would say.

Here's what Steph and I are going to dance to. She let me pick, which was surprising, as she isn't all that crazy about the music I listen to.



And we would love to have anyone who wants to come at the wedding. It's going to be a lot of fun.

Edit: Things between myself and my family have gotten to a place where it's pretty much not repairable, and they won't be coming to the wedding. My guest list is currently about seven people long, so yeah, it would be very cool to have anyone who wanted to come. That being said, I'm well aware that it's a big expense, so no need to feel bad about not being able to make it.

Edit edit: Funny thing. That picture is the exact picture that we gave to our cake person to have the cake topper modeled after.

Geez none of us fucking knew that! Fuck sake Bungle, we all just want five minutes of peace without OANST prattling on about his Pac Man wedding. Sheesh.

Would it be weird if I brought a friend? He has nothing to do with OWF but is a cool guy and I think you'd get along. He's got pretty much the same taste in everything as I do, and would probably bring some amazing weed. If you're into that. Which you are.

Nope. All invitations are good for plus one's, anyway. We would appreciate a solid commitment from anyone who is planning to come by about a month and a half before the wedding, but there's still some time for that. Wedding isn't until late June.

Wish I could afford to go but I'm saving for my girlfriend's visit and I may or may not be doing something special for her.

First off, congratulations again, Mat. I have to confess my first response when I read you'd proposed was "Oh God, not again", but in the months following I've come to see that you and your bride-to-be really have built this relationship to last, and I wish you both, and your kids, the best.

As for me, I think some of us are (finally) starting to outgrow OWF. I joined when I was 14, and a child. In a couple of months I'll be 20, and an adult. A wedding might be thematically appropriate bookend, but it'd be a bit awkward without a decent OWF cohort.

So yeah, I guess I am prepared to make that commitment, but not on my own. I'll need to talk to a few of the veterans first. I can't spend the entire trip with Bungle.

I know what you mean about the "Oh, here we go again thing." But this one was very different. She wasn't a rebound, we'd been together for about two years, lived together for one, and instead of getting sick of each other, ended up just loving each other more and more as time went on. She's the rest of my life. I know that because I have demanded that she allow me to die first.

Yeah... I get out of college on the 26th. Somehow, I don't think I'll be able to come. Sorry about that, it's certainly disappointing on my end.

We'll probably be having some celebrations of our own, what with the end of the course and all, so I'll have my weird arty friends raise a drink in your name.

Maybe you could set up a webcam or something so we can all watch the ceremony. OWFers in the UK could have a little parasitic party of our own!

Understood! I doubt I'll be setting up a webcam, (the entire wedding and reception is outdoors) but there'll be lots of pictures!

I've already come home. I'm quite disappointed. I didn't even get to see the bride and groom. Also, I didn't see any cow-gift as well. What a shame.

Well you usually meet new people at weddings anyway. The only difference is we know each other from here, So we aren't total strangers.
