Why are there no ads?
 

It's not like it really matters that much to me, just curiosity, but how come OWF has no ads whatsoever?

I have also wondered this.

Maybe their server fee is so low that they can pay from their own pocket with no problem.

The Unseen Masters who pay for it are happy to do so, and they have no desire to make money or anything. Not that you could make much from this place.

I have actually gotten ads on OWF before but that was purely the result of adware and letting someone else use my computer who promptly decided to download XSpeedBoosterTotallyHelpsV2.1 and OhGodDownloadMoreRAM 1.0023_69.

I've also had ads on the OWF thanks to Adware. Damn software sneaking in some more dodgy software I didn't want. Took the absolute piss to get rid of it.

But yeah I'm really glad the OWF doesn't have ads. Not to mention this is probably the fastest websites that loads other then Google.

It's because you all have ad blockers, you rancid content leeches.

Because OWF is hosted on an 'unlimited' host for like 5 bucks a month and that hardly worth putting ads up for. Also it's a fan site, it was never meant to make money.
