Munch HD has been released on Playstation Store for PSVITA

It was funny reading ol' Nep's denouncements in the Facebook comments. But at least it's out. Hopefully, after the NnT ports, they're able to spend the resources on the HD patch for PC and Stranger HD for WiiU considering, as far as OWI is concerned, it's better for the series' reputation to deliver on these old announcements.

I'm still awaiting news for the PC version of Munch HD. But I highly doubt that's going to be a thing anymore.

The official word from OWI is the following:

BUT 6 months ago Gilrod himself said in the comments section here:

Obviously it's not the first time they've promised the HD patch but we'll have to wait until NnT is finished before we'll see any movement on the PC port.

Which suggests to me that they aren't gonna talk about the possibility since, for the foreseeable future, it's all NnT ports.

We've been spending some time in the last couple of days looking at the feelings about Munch's Oddysee in the Steam Community, and when things die down on Stranger for mobile and Munch's Oddysee HD on Vita, we'll start thinking more about what we can do and when.

I know plans change and reality is always there to get in the way but I think anything short of the free HD patch, whenever you guys can afford to dedicate resources to it, will be met with strong disapproval. I mean there are a few gamers in the community who, at this point, won't be satisfied at all because they feel 5 years has been far too long a wait. I guess I'm probably not saying anything you don't already know though, Wil.

They also released a patch for the game. there was a issue with frame-rate at the second level ending.

You probably should have realised that before you promised to update it.

Abandon Munch's Oddysee and remake it at some point in the future. That's 'remake', not remaster.

Bummed that Munch HD isn't available in Belgium. Kinda weird because it is available in all neighboring countries. So it can't be a localization issue. :(
