Games Similar to Oddworld
What games do you think, in lore, art or gameplay, are very similar to oddworld. :fuzgrin:

Heart of Darkness is always mentioned in these discussions. And for good reason
I tried to like the game but I couldn't get into to it. Waaay too difficult for me. |

Another World is a pretty good one, I think Lorne himself said he was partially inspired by Flashback.

It's still in development, but CANDLE is a game that was consciously inspired by the Oddworld games.

They're not really all that similar to Oddworld, but Beyond Good and Evil and Psychonauts have a similar feel IMO, mostly in terms of tone.

I almost forgot that moment in Abe's Oddysee when Abe punched werewolves. Good times.

I meant to show off that the game has ledge grabbing, hopping over gaps and switches just like in the Abe games. |
It definitely looks more like Prince of Persia, if you ask me
