I suggest the Steam and Facebook groups as replacements.

I believe Nate has the ability to change the link targets, but not the overall layout.

We need someone to design a new theme, really. Maybe STM.

I think I can change the layouts, but not the images that say the titles of the websites. I've been wanting to add the Facebook group for ages. Unfortunately, Alcar stubbornly refuses to give me server access, despite knowing that I really should have it and despite knowing that I eventually will get it... he just can't bring himself to do it.

What's "layout"? If you can move images that are already hosted, surely you could move the text image somewhere we can't see it, and just put plain text links over the background? No-one seems to care that the "Blogs" link isn't an image.

I care. It bugs me every time I see the Native theme.

I don't have the PSDs - and given that the Native Theme is, what, a decade old? I doubt they still exist. I could try to match it, but PhotoShop is not my forte.

I'd fiddle with it until I worked out how to get it looking right. If I had the ability to upload and test them myself, that is...

It'd be incredibly easy to replicate the style of the buttons for the themes, just saying. I'd be glad to help out if it's needed.

It's not like doing a theme from scratch, which could take quite a while even if you were a complete pro at it

It isn't a NEED. This whole website isn't a need. A facebook link would be a very welcome ease of access.

I think we should just run a script that automatically changes everyone’s homepage to the Facebook page. It’d be so convenient.

Obviously not for the people who are already part of it, would I really need to explain that? For newcomers who don't know there is a facebook page. I didn't know there was a facebook page until about half a month ago. Just about every link already in there is something that we all could add to our bookmarks, but would have never known about unless was linked here with easy access.

And it should revert every time they try to change their hompage. You know, just in case they do it by accident.

Because the context was adding one banner link for 'ease of access', not removing them all for demonstration of attitude.

I've offered. Maybe not $5000, but enough. He's never giving that up.

I wouldn't mind having a go at making a new style. Apparently you should begin by generating one with the Style Generator in the admin panel and then edit that, but obviously I don't have access to it.

Has Alcar given you the permissions to use it, Nate?

Style Generator? We aint got no Style Generator 'round here.

We've got a Style Manager, but that just lets me edit the existing styles. And I don't understand half of what I'm doing on there.

Oh, yeah, looks like the Style Generator was introduced in vBulletin 4.0.4.

Can you just use any .css file as a style, or are you limited to changing things in the Style Manager?
