Games Advertised in NnT

This thread may be a bit precise, but I thought that I'd create a thread just for the games that are advertised in the secret area of nnt.

So seeing as Road Not Taken is free on PSN right now and I saw advertised in nnt, I thought I'd give it a try.

Holy fuck, what a shit game this is, seriously, is this something about this game that I'm missing? I found this game to be absolutely BORING! I feel like I'm in a minority as a friend has told me he loves it, whats your thoughts on this game?

Lately I seem to be finding a trend with all the free games on the PS4, that they are absolutely shit, Yes even Strider was shit with the exception of Outlast which I really enjoyed, and Fez, which is a game I have mixed opinions about, I certainly would not have paid money for it.

I've not played any and have no intention to, to be honest.

That Mexican themed one is supposed to be pretty good.

The majority of indie games are shit? No?!

Apparently Velocity 2X is supposed to be very good.

Apparently the guy that designed the game advertisements also designed one of the games advertised. I hope the small amount of visibility it gained by doing that was worth ruining the immersion in NnT.

You know it was Lorne's idea to include the adverts in NnT? Right?

enchilado 09-11-2014 08:35 AM

It was a terrible idea whosever it was.

Come to think about it wasn't there a boatload of controversy regarding the appearance of SoBe in Munch's Oddysee back when that game was just released? Considering the amount of things that were legitimately wrong with Munch's Oddysee that was hardly something to complain about.
I guess we're just so happy to see something new come out from Oddworld that the existence of ads in NnT is far less of an issue than it may have been otherwise.
