Can't access Add-Ons for NnT?
 

Hey everyone. Not sure if this is in the right place so please move it if need be.

I'm having trouble accessing Abe's scrub outfit. It says that the add-on is installed but I see it nowhere in the game itself. I can choose to download it (again?) from the Related Items screen on the PS4 menu but I get an error message: CE-32928-4. Same error goes for Alf's Escape, but I figured that was because it hasn't been released yet.

Any suggestions?

It should be in the Extras menu

I only have Leaderboards, Movie Player and Credits in the Extras menu. :\

Uninstall it then reinstall it?

How would I do that? Sorry I just got my PS4 a few days before NnT came out so I'm completely new to this haha.

That's what I thought. But I saw someone posted some GIFs on Tumblr with scrub Abe. Wariopunk do you have the same 'download' problems if you go check your add-ons?

You download them in the Add-Ons section if you have PS Plus. The Scrub outfit is out.

I dunno. Delete it in your system storage maybe?

Argh. I'm confused because the scrub outfit says that it's installed and yet it's not in the extras. I have PS Plus. It's a free trial but that shouldn't matter, should it?

So I thought maybe my problem was not having an official subscription to PS+. I just purchased a 3 month sub and still no costume in the extras menu. Is anyone else having this problem? I'm not too concerned about playing with the costume, but I am worried that this problem will still exist when Alf's Escape is released.

Any of you fine folks at JAW know anything about this problem?

You definitely pre-ordered the game before the PlayStation Store updated on 22nd July?

I saw this problem reported somewhere else today and we're asking the relevant people about it. Hopefully we can sort it out easily, but I'll let you know what we find regardless.

Yessir, I definitely pre-ordered the game. After some googling, I have found there is a small hand full of people who are having the same issue. Guess I'm just one of the lucky ones haha.

Yea, i've got this issue as well. It says he costume is installed but can't find it anywhere.

That sounds like a different issue. If it's successfully downloaded, you should find the costume toggle-able in the Extras menu, bottom right of the screen.

Oh ok, sorry, I was misremembering slightly. I'm not personally familiar with the PS4 menus. I've let the team know, anyway, so it's something we know to look at.

Hey, funkymonk04: Do you get exactly the same error code when you try to download the DLC from PS Store? Someone came to me today with the same problem but a different code.

I cant find where to try to download the Scrubs again, it just says it's installed and doesn't show anything else.

As for Alfs' Escape, the code reads CE-32920-6.

I can't remember if I got the same one for the costume.

Had the same issue. Just start a new game, and it should then appear in the extras menu. It worked for me anyway.

Alf's Escape hasn't been released yet.

Still holding out for it though :P

You play as Abe in Alf's Escape, not as Alf.

oh?? I thought you play as alf. Regardless, cant wait to see that extra content :D

Hey guys. Here's a quick update for those who are still having trouble. I actually got mine to work! I was talking to the Playstation customer support for a download problem for a different game and they were able to fix Oddworld for me too. Here's what they had me do:

-Delete the game from PS4
-Restart the console in safe mode (turn off, then hold the power button until you hear 2 beeps)
-Select the Rebuild Database option

Once the rebuild is finished the console will restart. Now you can re-download the game from your download list on the Playstation website. (there should be a button that says Download to Your PS4)

After you download the game again the outfit should be in the extras menu like normal.

Give this a try if you can't get your scrub outfit to show up.

Did Alf's Escape work for you without any additional problems?

No problems here. It ran perfectly once I was able to play!
