Blank Skin
 

I know this might appear as a strange request but would it be possible to make the default blank skin of vBulletin available to use on OWF? That or any kind of neutral skin?

Obviously this is to be able to browse the forums at work, yes.

Do people at your work really peek over your shoulder that much?

It's a campus style open space with lots of people moving from on place to an other during the day. So yeah.

The issue with that is that you can't post or see which threads are updated. :p

I'd benefit from this as well, so I can view it in class and look like I'm researching.

Not really keen on people seeing the header and going 'the hell is that?'?

Best OWF theme so far.

e: When you post you seem to get native rep icons until you reload the page.

That's probably a cache issue.

EDIT: Weird. I just tested it and it happened to me even after I cleared my cache. NFI what that's about, but it's not worth the effort of investigating.

Works the other way as well. I get Industrial rep icons when I post. Also, I still can't view profiles (additional informations) like I was able to before.

Is it just me or are the blogs gone on the blank theme (on the home page)?

And, about the rep, the icons show only in the post you just posted, like this (it fixes itself after reloading the page)

Oh you were talking about Native? I thought you mean the Native icons show up in VBulletin after every post.
Yeah it's done that for me ever since the update. Does it in Industrial, too.

E: It seems it's now a lot easier to browse on mobiles with the VBulletin skin.

I gave the blank theme a try but dear god anything except Native is weird and scary to me.

Whoever designed Industrial had no concept of neutral colours.

For me, icons have changed back to the default squares on new posts since the update.

I can agree with the comment on neutral colors, I'm just saying it's not like it's the N'n'T logo level of bad.

In case it wasn't clear from my last post, I will not tolerate posts saying how great a particular theme is, how terrible a particular theme is, or attacking another member for using a particular theme. Infractions will ensue. No second warning.

(Comments on the vBulletin 3 theme are fine as long as they're productive.)

I don't see top blogs while using blank theme. Not like I care, but just to prove that's not issue with only OddMan

Only Native and Industrial have a top blogs section. It's been that way for a long time.

I don't see it either. Having them would be great but the theme is already very useful to me as it is now.

Wierd. I was sure I'd seen the Top Blogs appear. Must have been a brainfart.

The blank theme is very much presented as-is. I'm not prepared to fiddle with it at all.
