Who remembers when this happened..
 

Hello fellow Oddworld Diehards, I was reminiscing on Wayback.com looking at the old Oddworld Website but then I got to the infamous "New website coming soon" page and was reminded of the years I kept coming to the website to see it come back "which we all know it does" but was wondering what was your thoughts when this happened.

That link does not work for me. I know that page by heart though. I used to go to firsttenyears almost daily just waiting for the moment that the website would be new. I'd read the old dear alfs, the old fanart, and all the sprites they had for whatever reason.

Fun fact: I used to have that site as my homepage, just in case on any given day something new would be there.

I didn't bother checking it because I figured I'd find out here when it got updated. :p

Wasn't their last update in February 2005 before they shut it down?

Nah, I like their new website, but I think they ought to resurrect the "Oddworld Universe" section and update it with consecutive titles. I know wikis (E: And Xaiver's very comprehensive content on TOL) exist for that now, but it'd be nice to have something official.

I'm glad OWI are doing stuff again though, that "New Site Coming Soon" page being shown there for several years was depressing.

Woah I remember visiting that version of the website while looking up Oddworld info and suchlike all over the web years ago.
