Are you getting Stranger's Wrath Hd on Mobile?
 

Hey guys, just wanted to ask if anyone is getting Stranger on his mobile too. If yes on which device?

I will buy Stranger on my Samsung Galaxy S3.

No. I've bought it for PC and for PS3 already.

I can't fathom mobile gaming at all, let alone a first person shooter. It's never as good. Ever.

It’ll probably be fairly cheap, so I’ll buy it on my iPhone/iPad. Mainly to support OWI, but it’ll be nice to kill some time with it on occasion too.

Well, I want to say that moving it onto touchscreen well is impossible, but then again, I said moving Abe's Oddysee onto a on flip-screen engine would be impossible. It might be good. Depending on the price, I'll buy it.

I won't, even though for now the mobile version will be my only way to play it, I'd much rather wait for the PS4 version if that gets made.

I loathe Mobile gaming so no.

Plus I can imagine it being rather annoying to control.

I probably will, just to support OWI (and to see how they managed to port it).

Did anyone else buy that AbeSpeak spp for iOS? I did, a couple years ago, but I can't find it on the app store anymore...

It's nice to support OI, but there's only so many times I'm willing to buy the exact same game on different platforms. Usually just the once.

The Oddworld app (that was basically a mobile-friendly alternative to oddworld.com) has also disappeared.

I have 2 unofficial Oddworld soundboards for my Android phone, basically think of the gamespeak menu from AE and that's exactly what the apps I have are like, but one of them has some extra effects suck as sligs saying "what?"

In Google Play its still there, and free. But really buggy on my Galaxy S3. Abe is invisible :P

It was released on android? Are you sure because I can't seem to find it?

If it's not compatible with your device it won't show up in the Play store, or it might have been taken down due to complaints since I downloaded it.

I have it on my nexus 7 where it works perfectly, buggy as hell on my brother's generic tablet though.

It's seems I am doomed, before I could not play it because I had an HTC Desire on Android, and now I can't play because I have a Samsung Galaxy S4.

Now I hope Stranger will compatible with Samsung devices.

I tryed the Abe Speak Apk on my S3, the App seems to work but then Boom! Abe is invisible! But everything else works.

It doesn't even show up on my Play Store and when I'm going to the link you provided it basically tells me to go fuck myself because I have no compatible devices. :p

My best bet is to find the .apk and see that indeed it is buggy on samsung devices.

We (JAW) made AbeSpeak, and released it, I can get all types of polite with my Oddworld hat on, but with my JAW hat on you really don't want to try my patience.

Yes, because with his JAW hat on he has the power of not just one jaw, or even one JAW, but multiple Jaws, just bristling with untapped, jaw snapping rage. Once unleashed, all of his tongues will be set to wagging, and his international team of crack (addicted) law peoples will be banging on your door, reserving the right to punish, and possibly (probably) molest your dangly parts. This is one mother toucher that you don't want to mother touching touch with, fellas.

Anyone who wants the APK should pm me. I'm not saying that I have it, or that I will give it to you, but we can discuss wanting it behind closed doors where the Gilrod can't find us, and intimidate us with his many JAWS.

I think a polite Oddworld hat 'please don't redistribute our stuff' would have sufficed in this case instead of an under the table legal threat. But that's just me.

I won't be buying it, simply because I already have it on the Vita (and let's face it, it'll be better on there what with physical controls).

Gilrod, I forgot it was not a free app, that's why I was talking about finding the .apk file directly, sorry about this. While we are on the subject, do you have any plans to fix it for samsung devices? I expect it would not be the most cost effective thing to do but it never hurts to ask.

I was never even aware an android version of Abe Speak was released, nor can I find it on Google Play.

See the above discussion, we just discussed this, you probably own a samsung device.

On the other hand I agree. I never saw any word coming from the official Oddworld channels promoting Abe Speak's release on Android.
