Splatty Birthday!
 

This one time, I was browsing OWF at work and was looking at a thread in which someone had posted one of those name generators that were popular back in like 2004 in which you'd enter your name and it would spit out an insult based on some script. I was vaguely worried that one of my colleagues would look over at my monitor and see all these obscene terms on the screen.

One guy actually did look over and got a confused expression on his face. When I asked him 'What?' he turned to me and said 'I just noticed that you've got the word "Splat" written really large right there.'

And that is my earliest memory of Splat.
