[New'n'Tasty: The other Trophies]

Hey guys, i made that thread because i want to discuss with you guys, which Trophies New'n'Tasty will/get except that ones from the contests.

Write down your ideas of Trophies and discuss the other ones :)

Some of my ideas:

-Escape from RuptureFarms
-Get to the Monsaic Lines from the Stockyards
-Pass the Scrabanian and Paramonian Temples
-get back to RuptureFarms
-Shutdown the Factory

-Learn your first bell melody
-Give a Paramite some meat
-throw a stone against a Slog
-let a Slig die while he is sleeping
-See a Scrab fight
-Rescue all 99 Modukons
-kill all Modukons
-Got the Elum away from the bee nest
-Meet the Elum
-Let a Slog Run into a Mine

I don't think there should be any achievements should be gotten by a required part of the game. So meeting Elum, seeing a Scrab fight, Giving a paramite meat, should all not be achievements, as you're not really acheiving anything that wasn't expect out of you anyways. Things like rescuing all 99 though, is going where not all player who beat the game have gone.

Agreed. Stuff that's hard to pull off should be achievements. Saving, Killing all Mudokons. Finding all secret areas, never get spotted by a Slig. Those sort of things.

There should be an achievement for getting into the weird situations we talked about in the other thread; usually relating to vaporised entities still setting off explosives.

I agree with this to an extent, except for beating the game. An achievement for finishing the game (with any number of rescued muds) is fine by me though, because let's be fair, finishing the game it self is an achievement.

Yeah, you are all right, but remember. Over 70% of Much Trophies was level completings, so i think some of Level conpleting Trophies will come in New'n'Tasty too. Sure not so much like in MO but a few i think...

Following on from what JennyGenesis said; I think there should be a simple achievement early on in the game that everyone gets and one for finishing the game. I'm reading a thread in another forum where people are using achievements like that to judge what percentage of players that start a game go on to finish it.

With that logic the 2 obvious ones that come into my head are to escape Rupturefarms or rescue your first mud.

Achievements are just a cheap gimmick.
Why don't they be more creative with achievements like..

Warm Welcome
- Game failure to authenticate

Persistance
- Downloaded 10th Patch/update

Legacy
- Keep the game installed for five years

JennyGenesis 03-02-2014 01:40 PM

How are they achievements?

They don't have anything to do with gameplay nor do they require any skill...
