I used to be a huge fan of wrestling as a kid, hell I owned every single nWo piece of franchise you could get. I'm not into this gay ass new wwe shit nowadays..it's too family friendly and far from entertaining. I'm talking about john cena and the rest of the homocrew. Back when I was a Kid, I already hated every type of drama, so my two favourite were those who just kicked ass and were pretty much shut and without all the arrogance charisma bullshit.

When I was a kid it didn't interest me because I thought it was just another sports show. My parents thought it was fucking stupid so they never watched it either. Closest we got was Celebrity Deathmatch.
It wasn't until years later one of my redneck friends invited me over and we watched WWE in his trailer and that was some of the funniest shit I'd ever seen. If I actually bothered to watch TV on my own I'd have probably watched it whenever it was on for a good laugh. |
I preferred UFC. More beatings, less drama. But now, it's practically the same. Bah, television is getting boring by the minute...

I liked UFC in terms of watching people actually beat the shit out of each other. Haven't seen or heard anything about it in well over a year, though.

Professional Wrestling is fucking awesome and the feuds/drama are hilarious.
UFC is a bunch of dudes with brain damage slapfighting and then trying to bearhug each other into submission. Also wrestlers are usually awesome dudes who like to entertain and UFC fighters are upjumped thugs. |

I concur with Nep... UFC is rad. The lighter weights are usually a lot more fun than the heavier ones because it's more about the standup rather than the grappling. Young Irish man Conor McGregor won his first fight of UFC a couple of weeks ago, a good solid knock out not 30 seconds into the first round. The best bit was whenever he shouted to the camera, "SIXTY G's, DANA!" Made me giggle.

Grappling can be just as interesting as striking when you know what they're attempting to do.

Interesting and exciting are two different things. I prefer fast paced fights with loads of followups and I get a strange boner whenever I see kickers in it. Grappling isn't as fun, it's more methodical and slow. The same can't be said for throws, though, they're exciting.

WWF Was the shit and always will be the shit. Luckily there is some websites out there that has the entire year of WWF 93 - 99 and some WCW shit aswell. pretty sweet to rewatch the old episodes. BUT FUCK THIS NEW WWE Stuff
