Yeah I agree. However what can we put there instead? Links to the OWF YouTube? The Minecraft servers?

They're not just links to sites we like. They're links to the sites of the Forums' sponsors.

Some of which, do not exist.

I think this place is fairly self-sufficient now. The only one of those places still active is partially controlled by the person who runs OWF.

I wouldn't mind the Steam group going into Wil's sig, though.

Maybe it's an excuse to revamp Oddchat and TOL.

OddChat doesn't need a revamp, it just needs people who can be arsed to go on it.

Yeah, that was a bit of a mixup. We're waiting on the DNS to update itself and it should be back in a day or so.

Oh please, this place is hosted on a 10 dollar a month hosting account that is paid out of Alcar's own pocket. There is no self-sufficiency to speak of. It's not like we run around, collecting money to pay off the premium dedicated server to run this forum.

Wouldn't changing the links on the top banner also require a new forum theme as well?

Of course not, it's not just one huge image, it's a composite of different layers. He just needs to delete them specific layers and create some new ones, no big deal.

That said, creating new slices to replace the old from scratch might not go so smoothly. I’ve had an idea rattling in the back of my head about fixing up the forums with a more modern, less image-heavy skin, but time and effort are against me.

Plus, y’know, the Curse.

I think once Alcar gets around to implementing the theme I created, things will start to look up for everyone.

I say we fuck up the theme as much as possible and invite Cloverfield back for one day to see what the place has become.

Actually I tried slicing up the theme and such a while ago, and it didn't go well. Whoever sliced it up in the first place did a horrible job. Or maybe it's just the forum software.

I did draw a picture of an obsese Elum shitting out a bloodstained screencap of Oddworld RPG, but the save screwed up and I don't think I could stomach drawing it again.

I mean, ten minutes of looking at Oddworld RPG is enough for anyone.
