Oddworld Cosplay
 

Has anyone here seen a decent Oddworld costume? Perhaps at a convention or just over the net?

It consists of nothing but a green sock over his penis.

I have one of those, it's a glow in the dark condom.

Laughed for a good two minutes at that Abe costume.
That's not to insinuate it's a terrible terrible costume, but that middle photo is just gold.

I thought the Abe costume was pretty decent.

I just remembered that my youngest brother went as Stranger for a convention we went to. Not the best costume, but atleast he was recognised.

We also have plans to make other Oddworld costumes and actually make them look decent. Though I think we may only be able to pull off a Glukkon and a Mud for next year's Toronto Wizard World Convention.

Morphsuits were clearly designed with that exactly in mind.

I'm looking into getting the proper stilts for being a paramite.

I think normally cosplay is pretty creepy (unless it's a really, really good costume), but the Oddworld costumes are 10x freakier.

It is awesome to see people actually take the time to make them though, so they have my respect. :)

I don't think Cosplaying is creepy at all. (unless it's a fat guy cosplaying Tifa or some shit.) I really love how they can capture a Video Game character and bring it to the real world.

In my opinion, Girls can pull off Cosplaying much better then guys. I'm not saying guys are horrible at it, it's just I've seen some amazing female cosplayers who design the clothing to the up most detail. I'm going with the example of NintendoFanGirl Cosplaying the Skyward Sword Zelda.

I dislike cosplaying in any form outside of the bedroom. Even inside it's kinda creepy.

Girls are more interested in clothes than boys. Who knew?

On the other hand that Stranger cosplay is awesome :p
