Issues running AO and SW for the PC
 

Alright, so I've been having these problems with AO and SW. Lets start with AO.

After I install AO from Steam and run it, the game crashes on the screens before the selection screen. Does anyone know what's going on here?

As for SW, It would work fine if it weren't for the fact my screen doesn't seem to want to show anything. My game appears as a tiny blacked out tab in the corner of my screen. Not sure if I'm doing anything wrong with the screen configuration or what.

What sort of graphics card have you got? What operating system are you using? Have you tried compatibility mode?

What Nate said and also have you tried running Abe's Oddysee under Administrative mode?

I'm using Windows 7, I don't quite know my graphics card.

And what is Compatability mode? How do I use it? :L
