Half-Life 2: Episode 3 - leaked concept art?

Are they still on with Episode 3? I was hoping (probably along with the rest of the community) that they would just skip straight to Half-Life 3 or something. Looks good though.

Why not put this in the 'Something Interesting' thread since that's Valve related anyways? Besides that, I find these pretty cool. Also, is that a redesigned Alyx?

I think actual HL2:E3 art is worthy of it's own thread. :)

You realize that this isn't an announcement, right? This just really old concept art that got leaked. We still have no idea what their intentions for this are.

I'm pretty sure the girl in those photos is the deaf person that Valve said they were going to have in Half-Life 2 Episode 3. Don't remember where I read that, but I recall them saying they were going to implement a game mechanic where you have to lead around a deaf woman. Something like that.

Goddammit when will this fucking game come out.

I had heard that the episodes are Half-Life 3.

That'll be why they have "Half-Life 2" in the title. Seriously, does that mean we should actually be waiting for Half-Life 4?

No. It's "Half-Life 2 2".

Alternatively, "Half-Life 2+1".
