Games: the Movie
Well, actually... it's Wreck It Ralph, but it has tons of famous game characters and games.
|
It's now posted in three different topics :)
|
Welp...
|
This looks awesome, I'm so excited to see it!
|
I'm looking forward to this. Rich Moore is usually a great director and the concept looks interesting, too.
Never much cared for John C. Reilly, though... |
You shut your stupid mouth.
|
I'm sorry OANST. Are you a closet John C. Reilly fan? Or are you a closet John C. Reilly fan?
|
He's John C Reilly in the closet.
|
I'm the ghost of Christmas Past.
I don't know. Maybe the movie will be better than it looks. |
My mind is blown.

After watching the trailer my expectations have gone down slightly. It seems like it'll just be "OH LOOK AT THAT VIDEO GAME CHARACTER!!" instead of an actually well-constructed movie. Ah well, I'll probably still watch it, if only for Zangief and M. Bison's antics. |
The zombie reminds me of Nathan Barnatt, why the hell isn't he in this? o_o
It looks awesome though, I thought it was gonna have generic versions of classic game characters when I first started watching the trailer but then I saw Bowser and Robotnik and was like shhiiite Characters I want to make cameos: Evil Otto and Robots from Berzerk Yar Badniks Hammer Bros. MCP and Grid Bugs from Tron Alien from Space Fury And some SNK characters like Terry Bogard |
actually i just watched the trailer that seems like a really good movie. as long as they keep a good plotline and amusing it should do well
|
:
Fixed. |
Wow! I was really surprised to see actual game characters making cameos.
I really hope this turns out to be a great film, I'm not the biggest Disney fan but the fact that it's about Video Games really gets me interested. |
It looks ok, people. Just ok.
Don't shit yourselves over it just yet. Getting the rights to use all of the most overrated game characters on the market probably isn't that hard for Disney. From what I can see they play a very minor role in an otherwise generic looking "who am I?" movie. |
Besides, when's the last time Disney made something good?
Hold on. I'm doing the math. carry the two.... minus 17.... add the seven..... oh, yeah. Never. |
I still have slight hope, the director was behind some of my favourite Simpsons episodes. Y'know, before the show started being bad.
|
I'm surprised Master Chief didn't appear in that trailer. That seems like exactly the kind of wank they would put in a film like this.
And at the end, he finally removes his helmet, to reveal he was Mickey Mouse the entire time. |
:
I am answering you non ironically Come at me bro |
He may have been asking when the last time Disney made something good and also entirely original.
I think most, if not all, of Disney's films are competently made. Doesn't mean they're good though. |
I liked the Emperor's New Groove, but that was ten years ago.
|
Wasn't that one of those movies that went through a really involved, controversial pre-production process where several talented people were either fired or secretly assassinated by Imagineered cyborgs?
|
I dunno, but that sounds pretty Disney.
|
Tangled was good, mothafuckas.
|
It really wasn't that good.
|
:
|
OANST, you're a butt.
|
:
|
Sure, it was.
