But Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD and Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee HD will both be playable on Vita.

Sorry no E3 this year for AO. It's not all doom and gloom though; I'm sure we will try to announce something when we can.

All I'm saying is that Oddworld isn't happening for everyone. I don't see why I should even bother trying to hope for a new Oddworld game. It's never going to come. Not for me to play atleast. Is there actually one reason of why I sohuldn't just leave everything Oddworld behind? :P

If every fan was like you, the Oddworld Franchise would be dead by now. I never had Xbox, so I never played MO and SW for years, and I still loved the Oddworld series for this entire time. If you like/love something, you hope for the best and support it. There's tons of fans that support a franchise that has turned something they don't like, and they still support it. OWI and JAW have been the perfect example of a gaming company, they listen to the public, no matter how hard it is to listen and they try the best they can, so everybody can be happy with it's product, and you're questioning their motives and ideals for the franchise? If you're really questioning your loyalty to the franchise, just don't be a fan. It's easier.

So because there isn't a new Oddworld game on the Xbox yet you consider the franchise dead? Why don't you save enough money, buy a PS3 or a decent PC? Jesus...

To be fair, I'd rather have an Xbox than a PS3,but thats jist my opinion. Besides, I have all the oddworld I need on my old PS 1 and my PSP. Theres no dire need for any Xbox release right now.

You can get a PS3 pretty cheap these days. Cheaper still would be to just get a £30 ATI card and the Oddbox on Steam.

(I personally prefer to play Oddworld on my PSP. Got the two Gamespeak triggers assigned to left and right on the Nub, and the Black Level set to +2. Its all I use it for now, that and Tetris since the Vita doesn't have that yet)

That's easy for you to say. I never had an Xbox for years either. I only got one in 2009 so I didn't play them for years either! For goodness sake! Stop thinknig I'm taking it out of OWI and JAW! I mean OMG!? Seriously!? You seriously have the wrong impression! :fuzmad:

You're lucky you're getting them now! For freaking sake! Consider yourself lucky and put it at that! As for buying a PS3? They're £300! As for playing it on PC!? Bah! I only play games on PC if that's all they're on. PC is rubbsih for playing games in my opinion. :P

Yeah, I totally have a wrong impression. Also, if you really, REALLY wanted the games, you could work on summer for a PS3. That's how I got it. Just sayin', you know?

Also bear in mind that it isn't OWI or JAW's fault that their game isn't on Xbox. It's Microsoft being crap. And as much as I dislike Microsoft as a games company (Windows Live can suck it!), it sucks for JAW and OWI 'cause that's one less major outlet for their games.

If they're successful with Abe HD though perhaps Microsoft will change their mind, I hope.

I asked for an XBOX for christmas when I was about 14 solely to play Munch's Oddysee and Stranger's Wrath. At that age I wasn't keen on either game but I was still happy I had them so I could support the company. Years on I'm still not keen on Stranger's Wrath because my love for Oddworld lies with Abe, however I still bought Stranger's Wrath HD on the Playstation Network when it came out, purely to aid JAW in their work so I can get Abe HD. I must've played on Stranger's Wrath HD two or three times at the most, but I don't mind as I've helped JAW so they can do their best to provide the fans with new Oddworld

I'm not a PC gamer either, I too am an xbox gamer, but you saying that PC gaming is rubbish is just you basically sying that you have a rubbish PC that can't run games. And you're jealous or fustrated because steam has so much more to offer than Xbox.

I love how you act as if though xbox is the only console that isn't going to have abe hd when when the game's not coming to the wii either. at least I don't think it is.

I highly doubt it will be on Wii. I imagine it will be on XBLA/PSN store, that makes the most sense to me.

Each to their own. I personally prefer PC, I suppose because the community is (slightly) more mature than that of the console market. Also, because there's no barrier to getting your games out there; anyone can release a game without issue, there is a much more eclectic mix of game out there for it. Minecraft wouldn't have happened on a console.

In regard to the Microsoft Xbox thing; we want our games on every console we can get them on. The problem is that we don't want to jump through some of the hoops that Microsoft has thrown in front of us. We will continue to try, but it's not our fault if you don't see it on XBLM; ultimately it is Microsoft's decision.

What are the issues with putting up an original game on the XBLM?
