Abe's Exoddus Speedrun

Some of you may remember a while ago that I posted a video of somebody performing an amazing speedrun on Abe's Oddysee whilst also rescuing 99 mudokons. Well I found another amazing run, this time for Abe's Exoddus. The goal with this run however was not about saving mudokons, just beating the beating the game as quickly as possible.

The player pulls off some really cool tricks with the ledge glitch, he even skips Slig Barracks and Bonewerkz thanks to the ledge glitch. Check it out, it's awesome.

This was done on the PC version, and I assume that the player played it without the CD to cut out the cutscenes and door transitions.

Yeah I saw this on Speed Demos Archive not too long ago, it's nice though. Alot of the route planning is very well done but I'm sure with further optimisation/AI glitches you could do it faster (wouldn't be much faster mind you unless it's a huge skip).

Yeah, I actually verified this (I lurk at that site and they ask for people to check the runs for cheating and play quality before they're published). Note how this run is not a TAS, unlike the Abe's Oddysee run you mentioned.

It's amazing how he ran though the game in under an hour. Very impressive stuff.

Yeah but think about it crashpunk, he skipped Slig Barracks, Bonewerkz and the Feeco Executive Office. That was probably the biggest timesaver.

I wouldn't say it's a TAS, but I did notice a lot of jump cuts.

That's because it's not done in one sitting. It's done in multiple segments and they've been edited into one video.
