Favourite movie scenes II

The first thread.

Post your favourite movie scenes. If it's something that would spoil the movie, at least warn in advance.

Let's get the thread started with this scene:

I fell in love with the movie and I've watched the intro at least four times in a row already. So good.

I want you to imagine me badly 'dun-ner-ner'ing the Ghostbusters theme tune whenever you watch that. I believe it ruins the tone beautifully.

this is everything i want to be

V's introductory speech.

What the fuck is wrong with you? Why would you post that? I am actually upset that you posted a four minute clip of a guy driving, and I watched it.

Dynamithix 02-18-2012 09:12 AM

I mostly liked it because of the song and just the theme of it. Yeah, to be honest, as a movie clip it's not that good, but I thought it was amazing as an intro to the movie.

OANST 02-18-2012 09:21 AM

I feel like shitting in your food.

Dynamithix 02-18-2012 09:25 AM

You're better off using the bathroom for such needs.

Sekto Springs 02-18-2012 09:29 AM

He eats a lot of corn, if you like corn.

OANST 02-18-2012 09:38 AM

He'd better fucking love it.

Anyway, here is a great scene:

JennyGenesis 02-18-2012 02:42 PM

From Hobo With A Shotgun. These 2 characters might get their own spin-off.

abe619 02-19-2012 08:23 AM

True classic epic-ness.

Sort of sums up what Cameron's been doing to the NHS for the last year or two aye? xD

The ending to the film Cross Of Iron, set during WW2 from the German soldiers perspective on the Russian front. Spoilers, obviously. i don't know if everyone will 'get' this ending, but i found it very stirring. it's a great film, although a bit dated now, but if you haven't seen it yet i urge you to. there are many other scenes from this film that will stick in your mind that i couldn't find on the internet. very good film.

I thought that was the only good part of the film to be honest. I'm glad if they get their own spin-off, everyone else in the film was so boring apart from Slick and his brother.

Cheifanator 02-19-2012 03:33 PM

I would post the "Their taking the Hobbits to Isenguard" scene for Lord of The Rings but due to shit remixes and me laking effort to go through at least 20 pages of shit videos to find the original scene.I guess if you really want to see it you'll have to find it your self or take out a copy of Lord of The Rings if you have one!

Edit: FML I went to the next page and lo and behold: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BeCsuvycPic

Spoiler for the ending of Heathers. It is over 20 years old though.

There's an earlier scene where she jams a cigarette lighter into her hand and he lights his cigarette in it, so the way this ends is pretty cool.

AlexFili 02-20-2012 03:00 AM

I have a few:

The end scene of Deathproof.

Any fight scene from The Matrix.

Any scene with Sgt. Dignam in The Departed:

Pretty much the whole of Die Hard is my Favorite movie scene. :tard:

I do however love the Geonosis Battle in Star Wars Episode 2.

And this one from Die Hard 2 sticks out in my mind.

I am going to stab you.

Dead Heat. Best movie ever.

Varrok 02-20-2012 10:58 AM

Were any animals harmed during the production of this movie?

Okay okay, the school bus scene, as sick as it was, was imo really good, but that's about it. "Burn baby burn!"

Also, this:

OANST 02-20-2012 11:05 AM

My favorite scene from Dead Man. It involves Iggy Pop as a crossdressing bandit informing a very dirty, and uneducated Billy Bob Thornton on what the word Philistine means. It's amazing.

Sekto Springs 02-20-2012 11:10 AM

I don't think I could pick any one favorite scene from that movie.

OANST 02-20-2012 11:15 AM

I really love Iggy Pop's performance, but I don't think I could pick a second favorite scene.

Gr8 scene

Dynamithix 02-27-2012 07:24 AM

I could just post every scene of this movie and they'd all be great, but anyways, these are my favourites. Oh and uh, spoiler alert I guess.

When I first saw this scene, it went from hilarious to plain disturbing.

Mr. Bungle 02-27-2012 09:00 AM

I love The Thing. Probably my favourite horror movie, and these scene really showcases its brilliance. Kurt Russel is a boss.
