Oddworld Theme Park!
Imagine if you will if there was an Oddworld theme park out there. That would be intresting. I could see it right now. We get to ride real Oddworld Mine cars, We could visit Rupture Farms and it would be some kind of roller coaster. All the Oddworld factorys would be roller coasters. There would be a Feeco Depot for the Monirail that goes around the park. Instead of rideing regular Monirails you actually ride replicas of the Feeco trains. Different sections of this park would be named after the different naturel places of Oddworld. Like Necrum Scrabania, Paramonia, Spooce Shrub Forest, etc. There would be natural themed rollor coasters and the industrial coasters like the factories. They would be indoors of coarse. And the natural ones can be out doors. That might be fun. It would be like an Oddworld wounder land. I live near Cedar Point which is in Ohio and that place is the best Amusement park on the face of the earth. It has the largest coaster on earth, The Millineum Force 310 ft high. It could be possible But I pretty much doubt that an Oddworld theme park would ever happen.

Heh, it could be really aswesome if done right.
Imagine a section of the theme park devoted to an Oddworld Zoo, employing animatronics to bring all the different Oddworldian species to life. There would be tours of the Scrab pens, with armed guards for added realism to protect us from the dangerous wildlife. I imagine a part of the zoo where we can pet fuzzles and baby creatures. There might also be a hatchery with various eggs. A fishtank would showcase some tiny baby gabbits swimming around. Imagine a weathered sign reading "DO NOT FEED THE SCRABS" as we approach the Scrab pens, the filthy smell of their habitats wafting through the air. We could also ride the Elums and feed the Slogs! Some security orbs would float around the park for added ambience. Real vending machines with Oddworld products for sale would be dotted along footpaths! It sure would be a fun place to spend a day. Maybe some of these ideas would be interesting if implemented into future games if not a theme park. |

What is the Idee? Creating of a oddworld thame park or a Theme park on Oddworld? I think it would be cool, whit lot of atractions, vendos evrywher (plus exploding farts) Fuzzles free in the all park, Rats as cameras, and The raisin that sell the tickets :D |

Wow it really would be quite fun.
but since animatronics are still fairly undeveloped, i don't think it would be very good...lets wait till Artificial Intelligence reaches it's peak of development, so you know we could have actual mechanical scrabs walking around with AI...i would also like to have several "explorable" areas, where you were free to roam and check things out, like VYkkers Labs and such. and a Safari tour would be neat...driving through the 'planes' and seeing wild scrabs and paramites hunting elums...woo! i'm ready! and hey, if dolly parton can have a theme park, why not oddworld?!? lol  |

Its a great Idea, Maybe I could get some profit back for Vykker's Lab they haven't been happy since.... anyhoo did any one else notice when you go to Oddworldian.net it brings you back to the Forums? Cany anyone else varify this?

I dont think that OWI could afford to biuld a huge Theme Park. But maybe a Oddworld Themed Area of some kind could be made near their HQ, and it might also be prety cool aswell if it was designed right. :D

Speaking of wild paramites and scrabs, ya sjould have a skyride over it to. How about a rollercoaster that runs through the necrum mine. Ya gotta have soulstorm brew machines here and there. (alkahol free ofcourse, so the young ones can enjoy it to ;) ) Any way:

the oddworld theme park idea sounds really interesting. if they could get a big-time company on their side, maybe from making a movie like theyve been talking about. sure, it wouldnt be a whole park, but a deal with Warner Bros can always give you a chance at a six flags ride dedicated to your movie. or if paramount had their affiliations, then maybe a kick ass ride at king's island!
i also like this topic because there hasnt been much talk as to the entertainment on our favorite surrealistic alien planet. what do they do with their off days? what are they spending all of this moolah on? the consumers have to have something to do! I could see a mud in a little amusement park worker uniform. of course, all of the rides would be rather dangerous and over priced. this could possible tie in with the idea that someone else had for squeek being in the circus...i see a fan fic coming on :D |
That sounds like a good idea but they would go out of business real quick cause you know someone would sue because one of the sligs shot them.
