This Thread will be talking about Team Fortress 2 for those who play it. You can talk of whatever pleases you in Team Fortress 2 such as Hats, Items, Servers, Likes, Dislikes, Bosses (Which the only 2 are: Horseless Headless Horsemann and MONOCULUS), Characters, Comics, Mann Co. Anyways, I play it occasionally. Personally, I hate the whole hat system. And there are way too many new weapons. I liked the regular old TF2, they raped it completely by making it free to play and adding a bunch of hats.

For the record, it is considered extremely poor form to create a thread saying "THIS IS THE THREAD FOR THIS TOPIC" without actually expressing an opinion or sparking some discussion.

I love TF2. Do you see my Avatar :tard: The TF2 we know now is much for fun then the original. I think the 2007 TF2 was too limited, it had not enough weapons and maps despite being probably more balanced then the current TF2. They are some weapons which I don't like at all, The Demoknight system is incredibly over-powered when used right and how now every class has a self-healing weapon (Candy Cane, Black Box)

I like to think TF2 is made up of three types of players. The Pros who play the game for competitions and are incredibly good at the game (too good if you ask me) The Average Players like me who play the game just because its really fun and the Hat Fortress 2 community who only play the game because of hats and spend loads of money buying keys (probably the only way Valve makes any money :tard:) I personally don't hate the Hat/crafting/trading system though it has dominated the game

There is one thing, and one thing only, that I found truly objectionable about Team Fortress 2.

Crates.

Without Crates, the Mann-conomy would have been a completely neutral non-issue.

Now the game's gone Free-to-Play, I don't even have the grounds to complain about that any more.

The best class i would use to kill the horseless headless horsemann and MONOCULUS, would be scout. Usually his weapon's can be good, and he can run fast possibly avoiding most attacks.

Although what i would want improved in Team Fortress 2 would definatly be about hat restrictions. I mean, The good hats like the fallen angel are for halloween/full moon only. I would think there should be no restriction on any of these hats.

I'm so loving TF2 lately. Been trying spy lately, god it feels good to chain backstab a whole row of people.

The new halloween event isn't as good as last years. There was so much more to last years then this years for starters the Boss fight was more of a challenge to beat, the Map is just fantastic, The guy who made it did an amazing job and it was much more fun.

I love the spy. When I first started playing PC TF2 last year (quite literally one year ago this week) I thought that the Spy was underpowered and kind of useless, but now with some of Update weapons he's a monster.
If you don't have/use one already, get the Enforcer. Relatively speaking it's the best weapon in the game since good aim (and if necessary using the Dead Ringer) lets you eat just about any other class alive. Its penalty is laughable, too.

I played TF2 on the 360 for about a year and a half. No updates save for the control of class quantities. Vanilla TF2 is still quite fun, but unlocking/crafting weapons complements the gameplay nicely and I wouldn't trade all the additional maps on PC for anything.

I like my Ambassador. It looks shiny.

I don't play as much TF2 as I used to back in the day (bought it two years ago, just before the Halloween update), but I return to it occasionally. Switching to melee in the middle of a firefight and hoping for the best is still quite fun, even if 60% of these cases end in failure.

I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I think the Replay Editor could be a bit more streamlined. I just don't enjoy seeing a loading screen every time I jump back 10 seconds in a replay, nor the fact that you can't just skip to the time of your choosing.

TF2 is an amazing game. I tend to play too much Spy personally.

The Replay system needs some work. I've been on multiple servers that have it disabled because it crashes the server.

You think the Enforcer is good, you've gotta try the The Saharan Spy set

Eugh, I tried to use Your Eternal Reward for weeks. Its advantages just don't compensate for not having an initial disguise. If you miss, or acidentally fire or whatever, you lose any disguise you got just as fast too.

True. I thought it was a huge advantage until I noticed you can't disguise. And you're stuck with who-ever you backstab so if that's a heavy you're pretty much screwed.

They made a knife for the spy that has the exact same effects as the "your eternal reward." That I would say is kinda sad. My bet is that they rushed through ideas for weapons for the spy, so went on and made a knife thats exactly similar to the other. All same effects. Besides the looks and its level sometimes, No difference at all :/

Oh, and that knife, it was the one made a few days ago for halloween.

It was just a cosmetic thing. They wouldn't make a proper weapon that could only be used during Hallowe'en.

I regularly rage at Spies when I'm stabbed in the back. Hate them. However, it is hilarious when they fail to kill you.

So has anyone gotten the halloween achievements and related items? I got mine a few days ago, quite interesting to see two teams working together for the briefest of moments to defeat monoculus.

I have the HHH Head, MONOCULUS Hat, The Book, I had the Unusual metal, crafted the Unusual Headtaker, the Voodoo juju and the skull from this year, all the achievements, the class Masks and Saxon Hale, the miscs and hats from the gifts. Everything.

I wanted all of the costumes, but i managed to get most halloween achievements =D

Glad their gone. I play on furry servers and it was getting stupid how everyone was playing Pyro at some point just because they could have a tail and wings... I hate those people. I'm just there for the porn.

Alright I was making an attempt at self-mockery but apparently it wasn't very clear. Fine, I'll leave the mocking to others as is usual.

Playing on furry servers is actually pretty fun. No little kids on voice and generally tons of fun people around. I can recommend it to anyone if you don't mind the spawn room changing into a furry porn art exhibit. That or just turn off sprays.
