That thing in the background is the Oddworld version of the Quake logo.

The sharp pointed things to the left and right of the Glukkon head represent the devil's horns. This is to emphasise the evil deeds the Glukkons are going to do in the game. This is me bullshitting by the way.

Is it not perhaps a glukkon seal from the age of alchemy before they became industrialists. A la Oldger type design.

It would probably help if you told us where this is from.

I don't know, but I've always wondered. In fact, I think there's an old thread where I asked exactly the same question and no-one had any answers then.

EDIT: That last sentence wasn't meant as a criticism. Just proof that I had wondered about it and never got any answer.

I liked to imagine that it was something the Glukkons sculpted back when they were spiritualists.
