As much as I don't like Japanese music, I liked that. I think it was because it was female vocals as opposed to the nasal sounding males.

I could very easily change that, you know. :P

Got me into phrygian and arabic scales. Oh how wonderful a drop D is on a good guitar.

Screw your Phrygian scales. I'm sticking with Aeolian because it's easier. Speaking of Aeolian scales, how about some neo-classical guitar?

I wouldn't say Phrygian is hard, you just gotta memorise the pattern maaan.

I've been listening to Why Do Birds Sing? a bit lately.

How 'bout I listen to what I want to and you can keep listening to whatever you listen to. Just to annoy you people, I'll post this.

I made that post in jest, although it doesn't sound like it now that I read it again.

Quite frankly I have no views on your musical tastes because I've never listened to anything you've ever posted in here.

Bare in mind that I usually listen to stuff like this.

I find it strange that so many people like only one or two genres of music. I listen to a variety of stuff. Except metal. Can't enjoy it.

I don't only like one genre of music. In fact I'm surprisingly open minded for a classical nerd. I just don't listen to lots of stuff at the moment.

I didn't mean to insult you or anything if that's what you thought.

I listen to a lot of comedy music, which gives me a bit of an entrance point into other genres. I start with parodies, maybe check out some light stuff, then work my way in.

My main genre I like listening to is metal, because it is such a diverse genre. But I also listen to D&B, Electronica, little bits of punk and hardcore, acoustic and bits of others. But whenever I do listen to these other genres I only listen to the entry level of the genre, I wouldn't delve into it as religiously as I would metal.

Does anyone here listen to My Morning Jacket? I'm enjoying what I've listened to so far on YouTube, are there any recommendations anyone could give me?

I wonder, Mr Bungle/Hobo (if he still frequents,) if you ever heard Juular on acoustic before. It works strangely. Also, best guitar solo ever on Life.

Also, maybe a demo from Epicloud? I'm not too sure but hot diggidy it sure as hell sounds good. It sounds very 'poppy' compared to the rest of his work. But I'm damn sure not complaining.
