Oddboxx on Mac OSX

This has probably been asked before, but I'm to lazy to go find out, but does the Oddboxx run on Mac OSX?

No.

Is this like when Michael Jackson died everyone started listening to his music?

Phylum 10-08-2011 03:44 AM

In a way, given that lots of people already listened to it and loved it.

No, I was planning to buy a Mac for about a month.

Has anyone tried running it with Wine or any other emulators?

JennyGenesis 10-08-2011 03:58 AM

I remember that I managed to get AE running perfectly through Wine on Ubuntu.

AO works on my Ubuntu (with wine) desktop. It doesn't work on my Windows 7 laptop though.

I looked into Wine, I can't find a version for Mac OSX, but I did get directed to something called Crossover but you have to pay for that!

There's a free trial but thats not the point.

Apparently MO and SW don't work, but the reviews on the Wine Application Database seem poorly done. It might be worth a try.

The AppDB reviews for AO and AE say not to install the DirectX version on the disk as it can cause issues. The version that comes pre-installed does the job.

Don't install Linux on a mac. You'll never be able to remove it.
